Since I was a little girl I've always fished and camped here. Never had issues with it before. The rules are pay $15 a night and that includes 2 vehicles. Any other vehicles after that pays $6. The camps information board states that and so does the website. When I went up there 4th of july weekend the camp host (which is newer) was going around collecting money. I heard her telling everyone including myself that you get only 1 vehicle per $15 the rest have to pay $6 per vehicle. She probably made $150 that weekend alone with just charging people extra. And she wants her money and does not play with it either. She looks like a meth addict. So be careful when going up here by yourself.

Camping here was good. They could have a better schedule for cleaning the portapottys.. The beach/river access was good.

flat and open area. was only here for day use to access the river and it was fine. no shade anywhere but lots of picnic tables. bring your own canopy or hang out by your car.

Fine campground - pretty close together sites. But proximity to GORGEOUS hiking and river access. And the river is nearby, which sounds lovely at night.

Love camping here host is nice and takes care of site. The only thing is that it is hard to get a spot here. They should have more camping along the river.
